April 2012 Real Estate Stats for San Diego County

San Diego real estate sales in the month of March 2012 showed strong gains for another month while the the number of homes for sale continues to decline for the eight straight month. So far this year the market is showing moderate improvement. Throughout the United States, pending homes sales are up 9.2% from last February, that's a good sign for the economy.

In San Diego county, the inventory of homes for sale remains low which means that demand for good quality homes that are priced right is very high and many times generate multiple offers. If you're thinking of selling your home, this may be one of the best times to list your home for sale this year. As summer approaches more buyers will be coming to the market, let's hope that the number of homes for sale grows with that demand.
