Del Mar Fairgrounds Hosts Goodguys Fall Del Mar Nationals November 22-24

Classic car enthusiasts from all over southern California will be flocking to the Del Mar Fairgrounds this weekend for the 3rd annual Goodguys Fall Del Mar Nationals, sponsored by Meguiar's. The show, which is the final scheduled event on the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association's 2013 tour, will feature over 1,500 classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, street rods, customs and trick trucks.

Running from Friday, November 22nd – Sunday, November 24th, the event will host a number of attractions in addition to the car show, including:

  • Swap meet
  • Designated area for cars for sale
  • “Themed” parking areas
  • Autocross track
  • Model car shows
  • “Nitro Thunderfest” with vintage dragsters
  • Face painting for the kids

For this year's Fall Del Mar Nationals, Goodguys has partnered up with the Marine Corp's and their Toys for Tots program. Attendees who bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the cause will be given a coupon good for $3 off of admission to the event.

Goodguys Rod & Custom Association was founded in 1983 by hot rodding enthusiast Gary Meadors. Today, Goodguys is the world's largest hot rodding association with over 70,000 members spanning across multiple continents. Each year the organization hosts over twenty different events around the United States, commonly drawing weekend attendances of over 100,000 visitors.

Tickets to the Goodguys Fall Del Mar Nationals cost $18 for general admission (ages 13+) and $6 for children ages 7-12. Entry for kids ages 6 & under is free.
