What the heck is going on with the San Diego real estate market, are prices going up? San Diego home sellers, where are you? As you can see from the graphs below, there are not a lot of homes for sale in comparison to the number of San Diego home sales. This is great news if you're a seller because that could mean multiple offers and getting more for your home than your list price.
With interest rates continuing to drop and rents on the increase, more and more buyers are wanting to take advantage of the market and purchase a home. However, unless we start seeing more homes come on the market, we'll continue to see multiple offers on listings and buyers willing to pay above appraisal value just so they don't miss this very unique period in history.
