Del Mar Movie Theatre Closes

On June 27th, 2011 the UltraStar movie theatre in Flower Hill Promenade was closed permanently. The Del Mar theatre has been showing movies for over 30 years. Flower Hill Promenade will be undergoing some upgrading and in place of the theatre a Whole Foods Market will be taking its place. A new movie theatre will be going in at the Del Mar Highlands Town Center located on Del Mar Heights Road which is located just south of Rancho Santa Fe in Carmel Valley.
