San Diego Easter Egg Hunts and Other Hippity-Hop Doings

Springtime celebrations would not be complete without Easter egg hunts, eggstravanganzas and hippity-hop celebrations for San Diego kids. Below is a glimpse of Easter happenings in and around San Diego.

Easter Egg Hunt at La Jolla Recreation Center

Children must bring their own baskets. In the morning there will be spring activities in the auditorium: decorate a spring bag, take a picture with Peter Rabbit, receive a treat.

“Ocean' fun with egg-laying marine animals (squids, fishes and sharks). Kids will create a shark-egg craft, hear a story and more. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Easter Egg Hunt at Brengle Terrace Park

April 3, 10am and 11 am.

Springtime Celebration Egg Hunt in Poway
Poway Community Park, 13094 Civic Center Drive
April 3, 8 am

The celebration begins with a pancake breakfast. Cost: $4. Five age-appropriate egg hunts for children ages 3 to 8 begin at 9:30 a.m. Crafts, fun jumps and games, including a hula hoop contest, will be offered at Children should bring their own baskets, and children ages 5 to 8 must hunt without their parents' help.
